At Multinational Insurance Company we strive to provide our clients with high quality insurance products and customer service, while protecting the confidentiality and security of our customer’s information. New legislation requires that we provide in writing our Privacy Policy practices once a year.
Personal information we have, where we get it and what we do with it.
We collect personal information necessary to administer our business such as name, Social Security number, address, telephone number, employment history, claim history, health history and creditworthiness. We gather this information from your application or request for loans, or from other transactions conducted with us. Also, we obtain it from consumer reporting agencies, public records and data collection agencies.
Multinational Life Insurance Company does not disclose any personal information about you to companies or organizations not affiliated with us, except for the purposes described below. We may, however, as permitted by law and without your prior authorization, provide information about you that is contained in our records to persons or organizations such as: persons who perform business functions with us; insurance support organizations; organizations that conduct actuarial or research studies; other insurance companies in order to be able to perform their role in a transaction that you have requested; regulatory or law enforcement authorities; and persons requesting information pursuant to a subpoena or an order from a court or an administrative agency.
Information we disclose
We may disclose any of your personal information unless you ask us not to share it with others for marketing purposes. These rights will be referred to in this Policy as your “Opt-Out Rights”.
Persons to whom we disclose
We may disclose personal information about you to the following third parties, subject to what you specified in your Opt-Out Rights.

Even if you Opt-Out, we may still share information with certain other thirds parties as permitted by law. These third parties may include, but is not limited to, the Company`s lawyers, accountants, auditors, regulators, advisors and quality-control consultants,We may share information to process your insurance applications in case we suspect fraud or to protect our rights to secure your insurance, among other reasons.
Your Opt-Out rights relating to non-affiliated third parties
If you do not want us to disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties, you may Opt-Out and direct us not to (unless as permitted by law and described above). You may do so by calling us at 787-758-8080 within the next 30 days after receiving this notice or by completing the enclosed Opt-Out Request Form. If you don’t opt-out within this term, we will understand that you have consented to share the information. However you can right to opt-out at any moment.
Your Opt-Out rights relating to our affiliated companies
Even if you Opt-Out, we may share with our affiliated companies information about our direct transactions and experiences with you. Unless you Opt-Out, we may also share with our affiliated companies other information about you that we obtained from third parties, including:

Information from your application, such as age, gender, marital status, number of dependents, assets, debts, income, employment information, address and the address of the property securing your loan.

Information from a consumer report, such as information about your creditworthiness, including your credit score; financial circumstances and credit history, including any bankruptcies or foreclosures you may have experienced.

Information to verify representations made by you, such as verifications of your income, employment and open lines of credit with others.

Information from a person about his or her employment, credit or other relationship with you, such as employment history with your employer or credit history with another financial institution.

You may Opt-Out of Information Sharing. If you prefer that we do not share this information with our affiliated companies, you may do so by calling us at 787-758-8080 within the next 30 days after receiving this notice or by completing the enclosed Opt-Out Request Form. If you exercise your Opt-Out option by phone, we will send you a written confirmation by regular mail. If we don’t receive the Opt-Out Request form or your telephone call, we will understand that you have consented to share the information. However, you have the right to Opt-Out at any moment. Your Opt-Out will apply only to the specific insurance number that you provide to us during your telephone call or that you include in the Opt-Out Request Form. Your Opt-Out will apply to you and any co-borrower on your loan.
Former Customers
If your relationship with us ends, your personal information will remain protected, as required by local and federal laws and regulations, and in accordance with our privacy practices as outlined in this important notice. However, if a former customer establishes a new relationship with us, the prior Opt-Out option exercised during that relationship will not apply to the new relationship or transaction.
How we protect your personal information

Multinational Life Insurance Company will not divulge or use information related to your health condition that is contained in our records, unless we have obtained from you previously a written authorization or as permitted by the applicable federal and state laws and regulations. The signed and dated consent form, which we will send to you upon request, will be valid for one year, but can be revoked at any time if you send us a signed and dated written communication to that effect.
The right of exclusion is in effect unless you revoke it in writing or email us.
At Multinational Life Insurance Company we strive to keep our records as accurate as possible. We try our best to maintain accurate information about you and we will gladly make the appropriate corrections when you notify us. However, we do not control the accuracy of the information gathered and provided by third parties, and you may need to notify third parties directly if you believe that any information that we received from them is inaccurate. You may request the name and address of any consumer reporting agency from which we obtain a report on you.
We reserve the right to modify or supplement this privacy policy at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide current customers with a revised notice that describes our new practices.
